The path I took to further my studies. (Just Testing)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
!السلام عليكم

First off, I want to apologies if I accidentally wrote something that offend you. If so, do tell me :)
Alhamdulillah, praises to Allah S.W.T. for everything. To live another day in this world, and breathe. Appreciate everything that is given to us, no matter how life is going, all those joy and sad. Never forget to say Alhamdulillah.

This would be my first post on blog.I'm not used to writing. In this case, typing. Especially in english. So what you'll be reading is a some kind of beginner english blog. I'm not even sure to write in english or bahasa melayu. I guess I'll do both. but mostly english. I'm currently studying Arabic, and I know Bahasa Melayu very well. So why not I write a blog in English. ey? :D

Thowback, Digging to find the true meaning of life :P

Nama Ana
Mohammad Amjad Haziq bin Mohd Ashari. 18 years old as of 7th of Zulkaedah 1437H / 10th of August 2016. Yes, 7th of Zulkaedah :) everyday my ustaz write both Hijri and Gregorian date on the whiteboard. That's why I remembered today's hijri date 😅.

But do we have to remember it? Why? As you might know, The hijri calendar started when our Prophet Muhammad, صلى الله عليه وسلم/P.B.U.H migrated from Makkah to Madinah, then the hijri calendar was introduced by Sayyidina Umar R.A. and made the first ever Muslim community. Just remember this as one of the first step of Islam towards success,✊🏻 with the help of Allah S.W.T.

Aaaaalright then..... so...

I was thinking about what course should I study after SPM. My first plan was to take STAM, which I didn't manage to get into because My school only select the highest scoring student in SMA (Mumtaz). I got Jayyid because I'm bad in Arabic (There is no such thing as "bad in language"). It's just me who are too lazy to understand every subject because it was in arabic plus my vocabulary is very weak. I ended up taking SMA with only memorizing some important topics that I learned. At that moment, I'm starting to think that I don't deserve to further my studies in arabic.

But the worst part of graduating from high school is to think VERY carefully on what course to study. But everytime i think about it, My mind was like.....

"What's my name!?? I can't find my name!!!! haha"

I'm glad that UPU result showed that I'm chosen to study Human Science in UIA. Okay so what is Hooooman Science? Is it related to biology? No. According to Wikipedia,  Human science is the study and interpretation of the experiences, activities, constructs, and artifacts associated with human beings. Pretty much like Psychology. Seems boring? you bet, but learning about humans, yourself, is interesting. Well, not for everyone I guess.

I did applied for Islamic Science in Al-Azhar, which is a course for SPM students. It was introduced in 2008. Unlike other courses which only applicable to STAM students. But I never thought I would be studying here. I feel like I'm lost the moment I arrived in Cairo 😅

It's very hot here, but it's different with Malaysia. Here, it's dry heat while Malaysia is humid heat. I didn't know what's the difference between both of these so I googled it :3 I'll explain why humid  heat is hotter than dry heat in a bit. So Dry Hot as we know "Panas Kering", happened because of areas with very little rainfall. In this case, Cairo has a really low average of rain in a year. Dry Heat isn't as hot as humid heat because the body can efficiently cool itself with sweat, which evaporates quickly off the skin into the air. Saliva also evaporates very quickly, especially when you're breathing heavily.

I'm a Malaysian cat i find this true....... meow :3 (jk)

Many athletes report feeling far more thirsty in dry heat compare to humid heat. So why humidity makes the air hotter? this is simply because when the air is saturated with moisture, sweat does not evaporate that quickly. Yep, our body cools itself by evaporation, So high humidity levels slows the body's ability to cool off. That why in Malaysia I can't stop sweating even when I'm in my bedroom.

Day by day passed. I finally get used to this weather. I had jetlag few days after flight. Prayer times is a little bit different here especially subh which is at 3.20am, at the time I reached here. So not having is to sleep is probably fine since the night is short, but if theres class in the morning, sleep is very important. I heard that during winter, 6.30pm is already ishaa' when currently ishaa' is at 8.15pm. Winter is also very cold. Because of the wind ofcourse, and the dry condition. One of my senior said that they sleep while wearing sweaters, and then covered by thick blanket, known as saratoga. Haven't seen one yet tho.

Seems familiar right? Plaza Masalam? haha

I'm currently living is Hayyu Sabiek, Sabiek is seven, A lot of malaysian lived here. This is a city area so it's easy to find mini market and foods in this area. As I was told by my friend, People here treat the road like a dumpster. Don't get me wrong. They do know the importance of clean, but only at their home, so normally everyday I can see people throwing tissue, plastic out from their car.

In conclusion, No matter WHO you are, WHERE you are or WHAT you're studying, just KEEP LEARNING."JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Thank you Shia Labeouf for the motivational speech😂 ).

Allah doesn't ask what or where you studied. But Allah will ask what did you do with the KNOWNLEDGE you have. All these knownledge............... we didn't learn it to score in examination. We learn it to teach, assist, others. Also for the best of newer generation. Reminder to myself and others.

Past is past. don't let it hold you back. Keep pursuing your dream. Most importantly, Always remember Allah, when you're happy, sad, angry, etc. Why? because Allah S.W.T. never forget you.

Forget the downside of yesterday, Don't hope too much for tomorrow, but be grateful for what you have today :D

Also being said by Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda, Yesterday is history, Today is a gift, Tomorrow is a mystery....... (~-_-)~ well ofcourse it's not said first by master oogway but anyways this quote should let us remember to be grateful everyday and keep striving for success in life.

I wonder If master oogway smokes weed? He seems pretty high tho

I guess this will end here, Terima kasih/ Thanks/ Syukran for reading this not so good entry post on this not very well designed blog, (It's a template). Please do remind/tell me if I wrote anything wrong. Anyways, feel free to read this blog whenever you want. To be Continued....... 👋🏻
